I can't really share the reaction. I've only played the one that took place on the original playstation years ago. It was an ok game.

Eventually, I may pick up the actual game, but I have started messing around a bit in the online version. The game actually seems to have several variants around for various platforms, including 1 for Android/iOS

The online version probably should just be considered a community site in game form. There isn't much to it, a series of mini-games and customization. Still, it's fun for a casual gamer who doesn't have the time for an in-depth version.
