I'm a huge Resident Evil fan! I've played all of them except the DS Titles and the Outbreak Games, (I heard they were pretty bad... Evil or Very Mad ) But more importantly Resident Evil 6 was announced and had it's release for the 20th of November. However recently Capcom did us RE fans a great thing and moved the release date forward to October 2nd! This is for all those Resident Evil fans or those who are just ready for Resident Evil 6. Let's hear what you guys think.

Actually Revelations is pretty good, kept me on my toes, not to mention a good story along with it.

I will definately be getting 6 ^^

I like Outbreak
the first "Left4dead" element concept game lol

and I don't really like the new ones
becuase it's more of your action then horror

like 80-90 percent action, 10-20 percent horror
making feel like a war game not a horror game.

I go with what Cheesecaked said.

All the Resident Evil games after the fourth kinda lost their touch, since it's become a third person shoot em-up game instead of a survival horror. Still.... gotta say it will be fun to have the same third person visuals with the good old dead bodies. No more of them crappy plagas.

And he who told you the Outbreak games suck, must suck in themselves. The Outbreak games are amazing brah! Think Code Veronica/RE 1 Remake/RE 2 lack of ammo over a wide variety of different areas. Outbreak the first takes you to a lot of sections you'd might recognize from the first set of games while RE Outbreak 2 takes you to even more new places, some new alltogether. Fun times dodging zeds and avoiding infection!

Hmm, I might think about trying the Outbreak games then now that I hear some different opinions on it. However I think that the biggest jump into action games was RE 5. The game was comprived of mainly action. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but it was not the horror feel that the originals or Dead Space gaves, I turn pale when playing Dead Space. Surprised Resident Evil 4 still had a bit of a scary feel to it, low on ammo, running for your life, and like 20 different instant kills from enemies you didn't expect. Better than the 4 or 5 Resident Evil 5 had.

i didnt much enjoy the game code veronica X but at least it had zombies and was still enjoyable but just not overly to my taste

as for outbrake i kinda liked the nature of it makeing it like a surival game and how all the players ya could be had there own special skills and item at the beganeing was rather fun

but as for resi 4 and 5 i n ot gonna say there where bad games as hell they where fun and kinda challngeing but without the horro of the zombies it just didnt feel like i was playing resident evil

but they where still well played games and hell i loved going againt wesker in resi 5 but to me

resi evil = zombies not plegas or what ever they where called without the slow moaning fleash eater it's not horro to me

IM looking forward to it just fnished beating Operation Racoon city which was a nice spinoff of the re franchise it felt like Left 4 dead meets lost planet 2 except with different special infected though some had the same names, RE hunters and lickers are fucking scary in ORC since they dont die easy as hell and there like 10-20 of them after you at a time. and then bam Tyrant. and the party's like fuck i hope 4 eyes has her control infected up. But she didn't cus she wasted it on the slutty looking female zombies. But it ties in nicely with resident evil 2 and Nemesis and answers some questions on certain things that were never answered during the actual games

she has a special ability that allowed her to control infected and even turn humans into infected

I heard Operation Racoon city was short but theres gonna be free dlc missions coming out for it.

well RE 4 and 5 was fun but should not be labeled as horror

well actully RE 4 had more horror feel then 5
maybe becuase 4 had more dark places and alot of night times
and it have the "Iron Maiden/Regeneradores" those things were freaky and scary http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OgyehNIzes

in RE 5 it always daylight and sunny
and you can see the enemies in open fields

They really should bring back an HD release to Outbreak with brand new servers, Xbox and PS3 wise.

ORC is fun as hell, even if it is short. It can keep you occupied for a good long while and while yeah, Four Eyes is literally the game-breaker for about 3/4th's of the game, my love goes to Bertha. Why? Her fuckin' special has a VERY high chance of making Green Herbs on ANYTHING it kills. Slash the chest, knock it down, stab in the gut with a machete. What do we get? Moar health!

There is plenty of games that are still being developed that I'm looking forward to. I hear Zomboids is becoming very popular.

I thought RE:ORC was a pretty different game when it came to the Resident Evil series. I couldn't help myself saying "Deja Vu" like 20 times. It was pretty enjoyable in my opinion, could have been a bit longer Campaign wise; but as stated, there are free DLC's coming out giving the Spec Ops point of view, which is much appriciated. One thing that has me and my friends playing it alot is the Multiplayer. Heroes Mode FTW! woot However character and class wise. I am 100% Survaillence. (Spectre and Party Girl!!) Spectre pauses too much with his speaking in the campaign though, takes away from the enthusiasm. Still a pretty good game.

I've heard of Corpse Party, but never really got into it. Mostly since it looked like a typical horror fest and not really an RPG.

Well, Spectre/Party Girl are by far THE best PvP'ers in Multiplayers, along with Vector and.... whoever was his counterpart in the Spec Ops side. Vector is obvious because he is faster, quiet and can go invisible, but Spector and Party Girl are better choices because of the Biothermal vision, Radar and Proximity Detectors. Hell, you can even give your comrades a radar on zombies and enemies for a good few seconds, making them a deadly pair.

Corpse Party? Never heard of it. Time to look it up.

I think Capcom needs to come up with new material on the older concepts.

maybe it was a tube baby XD

or maybe a blank plot in Wesker's history,
or maybe he knocked up a lady before he was super-humen.

and I'll bet Wesker would say something like this about Chris and Umbrella.

"You know it's not all about Chris and Umbrella, I got a life outside of them" XD

It would be interesting to see High School of the Dead mixed in with this game. Its pretty much the same except one is an anime/manga.
