Michael Bay is really starting to not get the clear picture anymore. _________________

Has anybody noticed the obsession that Michael Bay has for extraterrestrials lately? _________________

Maybe he thinks it's the reason behind Spielberg's success and that if he does everything alien, he'll be just as successful? _________________

Great and what does that make Splinter, another alien from a different planet and geez, why would he screw with a premise because he is alien obsessed....leave it alone.... _________________ You sure this is a good bone or not. |

I don't know about the original cartoon, but Splinter was an alien in the updated cartoon. And I have to admit, that wasn't actually too bad.
I never actually saw much of the original cartoon. At least, I don't remember much of it. I was way too young to remember much at that time. _________________

TMNT history as far as I remember.
Comic books Splinter was a rat mutated by the ooze but very clever, imitated his master in his cage.
TMHT (Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles) he was a human who became a rat because that was the last animal he had contact with then contacted the ooze.
In the movies live action back to being a rat who mutated I think.
Recent cartoon I saw was the same, he was a rat who mutated.
When was Splinter an alien?????? _________________ You sure this is a good bone or not. |

Sorry, my mistake. I was thinking of Shredder. _________________

I think you are right though, Bay is copying Spielburg at this point. The man needs to come up with his own material for once. _________________

LOL! There's no such thing as original. There are only TWO people who have, thus far, proven they can make their own shit up.
1. M. Night Shyamalan
2. Tim Burton
Dear god... should those two combine forces one day... a movie would be made the likes of which the world couldn't possibly fathom. It would be the most epic and mind crippling visual experience... we'd all leave the cinemas in comas due to excess of incomprehencible awesome.
Well, maybe not neccessarily make their own shit up, but make movies that can't possibly be compared to any other movie that currently exists. _________________

I remember Shyamalan being rather odd with his movies, but they were unique nontheless.
For Tim Burton, he uses the same dark, gothic theme for all his movies, but I still like them. _________________

I wouldn't say gothic. But his movies do have a certain darkness to them... but not too dark.
I'm honestly curious to see how his new one pans out; Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. _________________

Yeah, it seems that the trend nowadays is in historical fiction. Edgard Allan Poe, Abraham Lincoln, Sherlock Holmes, William Shakespeare, you name it. _________________

Michael Bay is terrible!
I was pissed too when I saw that little speech of his.
"They're an Alien Race". WTF?!
They're Mutants not aliens.
I never liked Michael Bay anyways, ever since he butchered Transformers.
The old Transformers animated movie was the best ever. Bubblebee not being about to speak was a terrible idea. Getting rid of Megan Fox was a bad idea. LOL. _________________ "Every exit is an entrance somewhere else." -Tom Stoppard

Yeah i think I'll stick too the original live action movie. I don't think I've seen any of Bay's films, but after hearing his announcement for TMNT I'll never watch his stuff, I might make a picket line outside the cinema nearby to have people not see that movie. |

"Hello Mr Bay I am your story board artist...These are mutant turtles after an accident with a bio chemical agent..."
"Er sorry, I don't understand..."
"Mutants you know mutants..."
"Nope, I don't get it they are aliens.."
""Mu-tants!"
"Nope, I don't understand you at all...may be I should hire another artist..."
"Mr Bay they are aliens landed on this planet..."
"Got it, now you are talking much more realistic than these mutant things you made up..." _________________ You sure this is a good bone or not. |

So its just ninja turtles now? If they are from space, where do they learn ninja arts? Some spaceborn society that has an exact cultural necessity that they need ninjas? Whoops, there goes ninjas from the name too. Good job bay for failing yet again. _________________

I'll watch it just to see how bad it is before I decide not to buy the dvd and shun the series forever. _________________
