I wonder if notch will ever consider adding ropes to the game. I 've seen them in mods and it makes me wonder why it has'nt been done yet. It would certain help me since I live in a house that stands at the edge of a large mountain cliff, with my mining facility at the foot of said mountian.

maybe it becuase there is ladders but your right it would be helpful like they dangle all the way down holes with no legdes... aslong as theres a ull stack they ill like reachs down 64 blocks... and it would be cool to have grapilg hooks use the bow.

I just got minecraft

What are some of the best texture packs out there, and what do they mean by skin. I do not like the skin i have.
