I finished reading up on an article about the Skyrim DLC called Dawnguard. Apparently, this will add several new elements to the game such as:

-Fighting while riding a horse
-New perks for werewolves and vampires
-New Shouts

The DLC will be available this summer for XBox 360 owners, but it will take several months before it is available for PC and PS3 users. Frankly, I was rather surprised on how much they've put in on this DLC. I can't wait to get it!

Actually I heard that mounted combat was added in the last update but I haven't tested it because a dragon made my horse into a late night snack.

Sounds cool, especially since after awhile, the vampires or werewolf transformations became useless.

I'd have to agree for sure with vampires since I've not really seen much use for it at all.

Werewolves however are a mixed bag, combat wise they can become a little outdated when your enemy gets access to much better spells and weapons though it can still be fun, the use however still comes from the fact when you change you can't be encumbered so if your dungeon diving and getting too much good stuff you can use it to your advantage.
